About

Struggling to hit your irons flush? In this video, we break down the simplest iron golf swing technique so you can compress the ball, eliminate duffs and tops, and stop missing short and right.

Most golfers accidentally ruin their iron play before the swing even starts by mishandling their grip angle, leaning back like a driver, or locking the trail arm. Follow this 5-step checklist—from pre-baking your shaft lean at address to mastering the crucial 4-inch lateral shift into impact—to make your iron swing repeatable and effortless.
