One of the most fun lines I’ve skied in awhile #ski #skiing

Snow in the cottonwoods has me thinking of lines like this one

About

The Train Tunnel Chute in Portillo, Chile might be the strangest way I’ve ever gotten to a ski line. A suspicious amount of time in the dark, a little scrambling in ski boots, and a few turns I won’t forget..... for a few reason.

Would you walk through an old train tunnel to ski this chute?

This chute is outside the resort in backcountry terrain. Bring avalanche gear, training, a partner, and a plan if you ever try to attempt it. This video shares our experience and is definitely not a route guide.
