About

How to start your putts on line every time — this putting gate drill fixes your putting stroke and exposes the toe strikes and heel strikes that start your ball off line. If you want to know how to putt better, start here: a centered strike is what makes putts start where you aim.

Step 1: Set two tees as a gate, 5 inches apart, on your start line
Step 2: Roll putts through the gate without touching a tee
Step 3: Clip a tee and you've found it — a toe or heel strike twisting the ball off line

Center strike = putts that start where you aim.
