About

The Route du Rhum is getting close — and after The Ocean Race Atlantic and Défi Azimut, we finally have enough real racing to take stock of the IMOCA fleet.

Who looks fast? Who looks complete? Which of the new boats are living up to the hype? And which older designs are still refusing to go away?

From Malizia 4 and DMG MORI to MACIF, Charal, Allagrande Mapei, 11th Hour Racing and the rest of the fleet, this is our full pre–Route du Rhum state of play.

The pecking order is starting to take shape.

But it is definitely not settled.
